Rave Reviews

“Kay captured the essence of our business in a concise Unique Selling Proposition. It set the foundation for our entire value positioning.”
-Vice President of Marketing, Regional Telephone Company

“We were referred to Kay by a former colleague of ours from Mercer HR consulting. Our consulting business was about six months old at that point and although my partners and I have worked for many years in corporations and for consulting firms, we didn't know what we didn't know about a truly successful small business launch and we were impressed with Kay's obvious expertise and her no-nonsense approach.

One of the most insightful things she made us realize is that, while we three founders had a great relationship and we talked about the business all the time, we had not defined what each of us meant by "success" and "profitability" and all of the other terms we routinely discussed. We did not know that we did not agree on many aspects of our business strategy and plan. Kay brought real rigor to our thinking and forced us to define our terms. This sounds awfully simple, but it was a real eye-opener. As a result of Kay's efforts, we three founders have reached a true consensus around what our goals are and how we intend to reach them. It's a very big deal!” -Kate Nelson, Ethics Author and Consultant

Monday evening, Del DOT had a transportation workshop for Centreville. They were very complimentary of the KPA meeting and the way you conducted the meeting with a very difficult group. I have scanned the power point presentation hand-out which has several slides summarizing the KPA meeting findings. It is interesting that we had over 100 attendees whereas their consultants had only 35 in eight sessions. -Morgan L. Hendry, President, SSS Clutch Company, Inc. and the Kennett Pike Association (KPA)

Kay led the integration of numerous companies into Conectiv Services. One of the key issues was how we could retain the equity in the older, established names while we built awareness and equity in our new, combined company. She assessed the strengths of the old names -- they varied greatly -- and tailored an appropriate, and sometimes multi-year, plan for making this transition successfully.

She also organized and led market research, advertising Return on Investment analysis and a variety of other marketing initiatives for me. I always found that she listened well -- both to me and to the target customer groups -- and developed practical, economic solutions to the problems and opportunities that we were facing. -Jim Parrish, Former President of Conectiv Services

“I thought I knew everything about networking...wow, I sure didn't know much even after 10 years as a consultant. Thanks so much for a great program.” -Howard Weisz, HW Associates, Supply Chain Consulting.

You offer excellent advice and always have just the right ideas for the situation. Your insights are truly of value to me. -Client that is a CPA/PFS and CFP and director of a regional Accounting firm

Kay has really been a help. Her insights and suggestions I think will bear fruit over time and she has certainly helped to reverse a grim depression that had come over me about the business. We are actively implementing her suggestions and though it will take some time to see results, the expectation keeps me in the game. -Owner of a Retail Store

A fabulous program. Kay Keenan was awesome!!

Both very entertaining and informative. I wish I had heard these things before having gone through some of my past experiences.

It was really a wonderful meeting. Kay gave us a lot of good information and I actually used one of her suggestions today in a meeting. Before I left for work this morning, I did what she said , and cut my business card holder in half and put one in my purse and one in my jacket pocket. At my meeting, the client asked me for my card before he left, and I reached in my pocket and had the cards right there! I smiled and thought of Kay!
